Warning signs of lung cancer can be detected easily when they are manifested by the patient. These signs warning caution someone he or she may have the disease.
Some key signs of lung cancer are: hoarseness, shortness of breath, weight loss and loss of appetite, chronic cough, bloody sputum, infection, recurrent pain and chest. It is recommended that you should immediately consult a doctor if you have experienced two or more warning signs.
Hoarseness
A change in the voice, which is considered an abnormal change in hoarseness. One of the main causes of hoarseness is smoking. In a person who is hoarse, the voice tends rough, obvious changes in pitch or volume breathy, and strained. Usually, the voice changes are linked to diseases of the larynx or voice box. When there are certain pieces of aberrations, or swelling of the vocal cords vibration is not impeded thereby to change the voice quality and volume.
Breathlessness
Dyspnea, or otherwise known as shortness of breath is the feeling of breathlessness, which contributes to an imbalance in the physical activity of man. It is a symptom that may be lethal, caused by various diseases. In lung cancer, respiratory distress caused by airway obstruction due to infection, inhalation of irritant or foreign body and bleeding.
